Staycation has been a thing since the Millennial era. And of course, I've been a fan for this kind of travel vacation most especially if I'm exhausted at work or eagerly want to explore the features that the Hotel is offering. But last weekend, it was a memorable Rumah Highlands Hotel staycation for two reasons; Japanese Hospitality at its best and the hotel is located at the top of Cebu City's highland - breathtaking view is waiting!

I came late afternoon at Rumah Highlands Hotel. It was gloomy but a little bit of sunshine. I thought it's hard to find the hotel but it is just near the highway. Another plus to travelers!

How to get there? If you're coming from anywhere in Cebu, you can:

a. ride a taxi/grab car going to Rumah Highlands Hotel
b. ride a jeepney going to JY Square Mall then ride a motorcycle (Habal-habal) going to Rumah Highlands Hotel.

So after check-in, I decided to get some photos first. I explore the Infinity pool in the second floor just near the reception which makes the area appealing to the visitors. Then to their Lima Restaurant and Lima Bar at the 9th floor that gives stunning view of Cebu City. How much more the Ange Spa at the 10th floor? More details below.

After all papers, I then decided to have a mini-tour of my Junior Room at the 6th floor. The room is huge for one person only. It has a clean and refreshing view of the City. Not to mention, the room has a complete set-up from mini bar to organic toiletries, Fully Air-Conditioned, IDD/NDD, LCD Television with international cable channels, Safety Deposit Box, Coffee and Tea Facility, Hair Dryer, Hot and Cold shower, and a bath tub. Intro Rate is 2888++ nett per night.

But the most amazing of all, their bath products are all organic! Yes, you read it right, organic which is very good for our skin and hair.

What I love most about Lima Restaurant and Bar is that they are using organic recipes. Not to mention the organic wine , red or white. These mouth-watering dishes will surely align to the wellness and fitness lifestyle that every visitors wanted to live and enjoy.

Lima Bar is best enjoyed during evening. With the city lights and breath taking views, one can definitely love the ambiance while savoring the organic mixes of cocktails or wines. Acoustic music is also available for additional Al Fresco feels.

Still in Lima Bar, you can definitely come to Rumah Highlands Hotel just to experience their Merienda Cena Buffet which is available every weekends from 2 PM to 5PM in just PHP188 per person. It's time to fulfill those cravings of Pinoy snacks such as "Banana Q", Puto Kutsinta, Biko, Toron and to name a few. There are a lot of choices actually. I bet one will surely be satisfied with all those offerings from the unlimited merienda buffet of the hotel.

One's staycation isn't complete without the relaxing massage from Ange Spa. When in Rumah Hotel, you should try their signature Seat Heat Massage most especially this rainy season. Why? Sea Heat is a kind of treatment that removes coldness of the body and improves blood circulation. It also discharges waste products accumulated in the body resulting to clean and fresh oxygen to the cells. It comes from Japan and this Japanese skills are already mastered by Filipina masseurs in the Hotel.
