Before the Grand Mardi Gras (Parade), Sinulog Festival 2013 has different pre-elimination events which they call Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Lalawigan ( Province) and Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Dakbayan ( City ). Winners of these events, one from Elementary and one from High School, will automatically join the other Sinulog contingents coming from different part of the Philippines.
