Unveiling its first branch outside Luzon, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts proudly announced its acquisition of store location in Ayala Center Cebu specifically at Active Zone, right side of Nike and Bread Talk. It is expected to open on October 22, 2011 – Saturday, with full of surprises which for sure Cebuanos who plan to come will enjoy its first bite on these high quality doughnuts and pair them up with their one of a kind coffee.

“Bringing Krispy Kreme in one of the country’s most vibrant cities is just one of the results of our continuous expansion outside Metro Manila,” says Mr. Jim Fuentebella, Chairman of Krispy Kreme Philippines.


Meanwhile, Mr. Mark Gamboa, Marketing Manager of Krispy Kreme Philippines says that the Krispy Kreme branch in Cebu will also offer wide varieties of doughnuts and beverages that made Krispy Kreme famous across the globe.

“We want to share the Krispy Kreme experience in our Cebu market thus we are bringing what the brand has to offer all the way down to the south,” says Mr. Gamboa “From the world’s famous Original Glazed, yeast-raised and cake doughnut varieties, to our Signature Coffee and its different hot and cold variants—they can experience them all.”


Bringing all its Varieties, KK (a tag used by most Krispy Kreme fans and lovers), will also showcase flavours which are not available from other stores in Luzon, part of these varieties are the so-loved Baked Creations. It has two different kinds namely the Pull Aparts and the Kruffins. Mr. Gaboa revealed this idea to the rest of Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. Members who attended the soft launching yesterday at the Red Box, Ayala Center Cebu. This newly created variant of Krispy Kreme will cost PHP 75 each.
